Almost an Alpha
Big changes added today! We have a shop, currency that you gain through playing levels, things to unlock, and more. With that said, the game is still far from perfect. I'd like to hear more back from players: What isn't working? Should the game be more challenging? How can I improve the UI? I hope that I've made it clear that I'm listening! Jump in the discord and let's fine tune this game together!
- Added more tutorial maps
- Locked stages and nodes behind progression
- Added a Shop, with unlockable content
- Added base currency for unlockables
- Added new levels to unlockables
- Added new node: Defuser. Defusers can safely take out Bad Containers. They are so effective, they actually leave behind a random good item
- New saving system: Balance Setting continue to use JSON, so users can edit/view them. But the rest of the settings are now saved using
binary, for ease of development
- Added sliders to the Balance Settings editor
- Change around some palettes so they look better. Removed 1 that looked very bad
- Added 2 new music tracks
- Levels now have music tracks and palettes associated with them
- VERY IMPORTANT: Added debug menu to main menu. Press H to access! You may have to reset data as you go, or you may just want to unlock everything upfront.
