This is a quick proof of  concept for a Brickbreaker game made for the Playdate.  The full version would have several different modes of play: Using the crank to move time forward, crank to move paddle, crank to vacuum balls,  and a regular, crank-less version. In this one, you use the mouse wheel (our crank) to pull up an aiming line.  The ball reflects that trajectory. There is also the slow time system, where the game moves to regular time as you move the paddle, sort of like SuperHot.

Controls:

A/D or Left/Right Arrows: Move paddle

Right Click: Vacuum balls

Release Right Click: Launch vacuumed balls

Wheel Mouse: Special Aim. Balls that hit the paddle while the aimer is active will follow its trajectory

Space: Push Time (Sets speed to "normal")

O/P: DEBUG: Change the time scale that Push Time pushes to
